About
Floodfonts is an independent type foundry based in Cologne, Germany and was founded in the year 2000 by Felix Braden. In the early days he designed numerous free typefaces – some of them are available in the Adobe Creative Cloud. His commercial fonts are distributed by Monotype, Fountain, URW++, Volcanotype, Ligature Inc and are available via Fontspring, Fontshop, Myfonts and in the Adobe Creative Cloud. FF Scuba is one of the winners of the Communication Arts Typography Annual 2013. Kontiki aka Pulpo Rust was nominated for the German Design Award 2019.
The fonts in the Free Fonts section can be used freely! You may use the fonts for any kind of publication, commercial or not. You can copy them and give them to your friends as long as the Readme file is included. The fonts may not be redesigned, sold or offered for download without the permission of the designer. The Commercial Fonts are not free to use! Please respect the user licenses of the different foundries, which you can read on the homepage of the respective provider. I look forward to your comments, suggestions and any information on how you have used the fonts.
